What is the project

WOMEN LEAD is a European project that promotes women’s participation in the transport and logistics sectors. The project addresses existing gender inequalities and the barriers women face in accessing, remaining in, and progressing within the sector. Through modern training tools and cooperation, WOMEN LEAD supports a more inclusive and equal labour market.

Objectives

• Strengthen women’s participation in transport and logistics.

• Develop training materials and practical tools for vocational education and training (VET) providers.

• Support women in building skills, confidence, and professional empowerment.

• Promote equal opportunities and more inclusive working environments.

• Raise awareness among organisations and companies about the importance of gender equality in the sector.

Results

• Creation of innovative training material for women and VET providers.

• Development of practical tools for trainers and sector-related organisations.

• Strengthened cooperation among education providers, companies, and relevant organisations.

• Promotion of good practices for gender inclusion in transport and logistics.

• Contribution to a fairer and more balanced professional environment.
